Day 01: Kochi - Athirapally
Our tour guide will greet you when you arrive at Cochin International Airport and accompany you to Athirapally. Sited amidst the lush green and thick forest, Athirapally is a haven for lovers of nature. Surrounded by rich and diverse flora and fauna, this place offers supreme peace and serenity. Make a check in at the hotel when you reach. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 02: Athirapally
After a splendid breakfast at the hotel, you'll leave for a sightseeing tour of Athirapally. The major highlights include Thumpurmuzhi Gardens, Charpa Falls, and Vazhachal Forest Gardens and Water Falls. Vazhachal Waterfalls are located in proximity to Athirapally Falls and form a part of Chalakudy River. The Falls provide you a number of activities to keep yourself busy. You can spot fish in the river, trek to the base of the waterfalls or explore the jungles. Return to the hotel in the evening for night stay.
Day 03: Athirapally - Nadukani
Post a sumptuous breakfast, you'll embark a six hour journey to Nadukani - a natural paradise in Idukki district. Check in to the hotel and take time to get accustomed to the embracing beauty of this charming destination. A half day local tour will follow up. Major attractions are Malankara Reservoir, a perfect spot for fishing and boating; Ilaveezhapoonjira, best for panoramic views of the three enclosing hills; and seven-step waterfalls of Thommankuthu. Come back to the hotel to spend the night amid mesmerizing beauty.
Day 04: Nadukani
Satiate your hunger with a delicious breakfast. Get ready for an exciting excursion to different places of Nadukani. Kalvari Mount, the most admired spot with picturesque views of the lofty hills, lush greenery, village life, vegetation and bird's eye view of Idukki dam catchments area, is the most admired tourist spot. Other famous destinations are Hill View Park, Cheruthoni Dam, Paramada Echo Point, Kulamavu Dam, and Idukki Arch Dam. What's more, if these attractions haven't got you spellbound, you have umpteen activities to do, such as river crossing, camping, cycling, trekking, jeep safari, boating, plantation tour, plant a tree, bird watching, campfire and much more. End the day with a drive back to the hotel for a restful sleep.
Day 05: Nadukani - Thekkady
Start the day early with a drive to Thekkady, after breakfast. You'll be accommodated in a hotel, after which a trip to different famous places will be made. Known for its vast sheet of spice plantations, this idyllic hill station is also home to Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. A wildlife cruise will enable you catch glimpses of the large variety of animals inhabiting here, like wild elephants, Nilgiri langur, sambar deer, wild bison, wild boar and so on. For the adventurous side of you, the place offers spice plantation tour, bamboo rafting, trekking, and elephant ride. Pick up a few garden fresh spices and handicrafts from the local spice market. Return to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 06: Thekkady - Kochi
After breakfast, you'll continue your tour to Kochi – the commercial city of Kerala. Visits will be organized to the ancient monuments exhibiting the rich tradition and culture of Cochin. Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry Palace or Dutch Palace are the most popularly visited places. Accommodation will be arranged in a hotel at Kochi.
Day 07: Kochi
A flavorful breakfast will be served to you at the hotel. Soon after, you'll be dropped at the airport to board a flight for onward journey.
