Day 01: Arrival at Calicut
When you arrive at Calicut International Airport, you'll be warmly received by our tour representative who'll transfer you to the beach resort in a pre-arranged transport. It was this place where the famous Portuguese traveler Vasco Da Gama set his first foot in India in the 14th century. Make a check-in at the beach resort, after which you are free to spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the beach resort.
Day 02: Calicut
After an early morning breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Calicut will follow. Popular attractions of this historical city include Tali Temple, Kappad Beach and pillar, Pazhassiraja Museum, Beypore, Payyoli and Vadakara, followed by the 1500 year old Lokanarkavu Bhagavathi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Return to the resort will be in the evening for sleepover.
Day 03: Calicut - Mahe
A drive to Mahe will follow the breakfast. Make a quick check in at the hotel and proceed for a city tour. Juma Masjid, Othenan's Fort, Mahe Palli (Mahe Church), Saint Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Puthalam Temple, Tagore Park, Light House and Mahe Beach are some famous places of tourist interest. After exploring these wonders, you'll be driven to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 04: Mahe
Post breakfast, you'll visit the traditional dance center of Kerala. This center is highly famous for the eye-catching performances by traditional dancers or artists. Amongst these, the major dance forms are 'Thayum' and 'Kalari Pati'. With such a rich cultural background, Mahe is now one of the most culturally vibrant cities of Kerala. You'll be back at the hotel in the evening for night stay.
Day 05: Mahe - Wayanad
The day will start early with a palatable breakfast and journey to Wayanad. Upon arrival, make a check in at an eco-friendly resort, situated amidst verdant rainforests. The major attraction for visitors is Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary which offers bird watching, elephant ride and trekking. To spend the night, you'll be back at the resort.
Day 06: Wayanad
Freshen up with a sumptuous breakfast, after which you'll visit the tribal village and museum, situated in close proximity. Post lunch, you'll trek 4 km to the magnificent ancient cave. Here, you would find the thick cultural heap of the country giving you perfect understanding of the rich Indian civilization. Later in the evening, you'll come back to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 07: Wayanad - Cheruthuruthy
Revitalize yourself with morning meal and travel to Cheruthuruthy. Upon arrival, a check-in to the hotel will be followed by some rest. Later, you'll be visiting the school of traditional art and dance, famously known as Natya Kala Mandalam. Besides enjoying the various traditional dances, you would be deriving great knowledge from the local potters and weavers. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Cheruthuruthy - Cochin
The day will start with an early morning breakfast and a long drive to Cochin. Make a check-in at the hotel and proceed for an afternoon sightseeing tour. The major attractions include Fort Cochin - a product of Portuguese, Chinese and Dutch cultures mingled together, Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets and Saint Francis Church. Stroll through the spice markets before heading back. In the evening, you'll be treated with an enthralling performance of Kathakali dance. Thereafter, enjoy a satisfying sound sleep at the hotel.
Day 09: Cochin - Alleppey
Take an early morning breakfast and get ready to travel to Alleppey, where beautiful festooned houseboats would be waiting to greet you. Cruising through the coconut fringed canals on a houseboat is, indeed, a unique and scintillating experience. To spend the night, you'll be accommodated on the houseboat.
Day 10: Alleppey - Kovalam
Post morning meal, a journey from Alleppey to Kovalam will be made. A break at Haripad Subrahmanya Snake Temple will be made. Check out the wonderful and serenely seated 500 snake statues. Continue the drive to Kovalam and on arrival, make a night stay at the beach resort.
Day 11: Kovalam
After breakfast, you have the entire day at your disposal. You can either relax at the beach or pamper yourself with a body-soothing, rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage. Dinner and sleepover will be at the beach resort.
Day 12: Kovalam - Trivandrum Departure
A traditional breakfast at the hotel will start your last day. Henceforth, you'll be driven to Trivandrum and dropped at the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
